The possible remains of a hulk of probable modern date are visible as a wrecked structure on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken from 2002 onwards, to the east of Turfs Lock. The remains, which are visible to a length of approximately 7m, are largely covered with estuarine muds, additional elements of which may still be preserved. The remains of the hulk were not visible on other aerial photographs made available to the survey.
