The hulk of the former vessel is visible as a largely complete but wrecked structure.

A hulk of modern date is visible as a wrecked structure on aerial photographs of 1946 onwards, to the east of Turf Locks. The square-ended vessel is northnorthwest to southsoutheast aligned and measures approximately 9m in length by 4.5m in width. The hulk is no longer visible on aerial photographs of 1960, although elements of the former vessel may survive within the estuarine muds.
