Linear structures representing possible fishtraps of potential medieval to post-medieval date are visible on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2012, within the muds of the Exe Estuary. The two partial, flattened linear structures are northeast to southwest aligned, with a possible third short southeast to northwest aligned stub to the north. Additional elements of the possible fishtraps may still survive within the estuarine muds. The linear features were not visible on other aerial photographs or digital images made available to the survey.
