A quarry pit of potential post-medieval to modern date is visible as an earthwork pit on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards and on digital images derived from LiDAR data captured between 1998-2012, to the northwest of Wotton Farm. The semi-circular shaped earthwork pit measures approximately 21m in length and has been cut into the side of a moderately east sloping hillside. The former quarry, which may have been associated with the farmstead at Wotton, remains largely visible as an earthwork pit on digital images derived from LiDAR data captured between 1998-2012.
