An area of possible medieval ridge and furrow is visible as a series of earthworks on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards and on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2006, to the south of Wotton Farm. The ridge and furrow is northeast to southwest aligned and is confined within a small plot which covers an area of approximately 0.27 hectares of gently west sloping ground. A former field boundary, visible as an earthwork ditch, appears to define the western extent of this plot, whilst an extant boundary defines its eastern edge and a relict boundary depicted on the parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48 its southern extent. The ridge and furrow remains partly visible as a series of earthworks on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2006.
