A possible hulk of probable modern date is visible as a flattened structure on oblique aerial photographs of 1987 and on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2012, within the Exe Estuary. The possible structure, which measures approximately 6.5m in length is clearly visible as a former structure on oblique aerial photographs of 1987, although is largely obscured with vegetation and remains only partly visible on digital images of 2012. Additional elements of the possible hulk may, however, survive within the estuarine muds.
