A possible mound is visible.

A possible mound is visible on images derived from Lidar data as an earthwork on a steep west facing slope within Knowle Hill Plantations. The earthwork is roughly circular and is approximately 19 metres in diameter. It is situated on a possible false crest, just above the 80 metre contour. The date and function of the mound are unknown. Field investigation is recommended to confirm the Lidar results. A second, slightly smaller mound is recorded circa 70 metres to the north-east.
