A linear cropmark aligned approximately north-east to south-west across Cherubeer Moor is visible on aerial photographs taken between the 1940s and 1999/2000. It is not depicted on the nineteenth century mapping and presumably went out of use by the mid nineteenth century. In the 1940s it appears to have been up to 6 metres in width, suggesting that agricultural activity had levelled any earthworks and spread the remains. It is contiguous a field boundary to the west, now also removed, which was extant until the 1940s, and may be of medieval origin.
