Knight, S., 2013-2015, Land Management Case Work (Personal Comment). SDV351543.

A large area of narrow parallel linear earthwork ridges and furrows on Cherubeer Moor is visible on aerial photographs from the 1940s to 2010. They are aligned roughly north-west to south-east at a distance of approximately 3.5 metres apart, and are very clearly defined in the 1940s. Their cross-contour orientation and narrow spacing suggests that they were created during agricultural works intended to improve the land, perhaps during the Second World War.
