EXETER CITY COUNCIL, 07/02/2014, Exeter in the Great War (Website). SDV356178.

In August 1915, the Committee of the Exeter Diocesan Training College (St Lukes) temporarily closed the college, and in January 1915, a large part of the buildings were given over to the Army Pay Department.
