War memorial unveiled on 3rd June 2011.
In honour and memory of the 4th (United States) Infantry Division's involvement in the D-Day landings, a new memorial was paid for and commissioned by the veterans' association of this division in Arizona.
The 6ft tall, granite memorial, made by Richard Grant Monumental Masons of Tiverton, has been placed by the upper gates of the People's Park, Tiverton. It bears the emblem of the 'Ivy Division'.
