Summary
A curvilinear earthwork bank, visible on aerial photographs taken in snowy conditions in 1963, may be the remains of a field boundary of medieval origin that went out of use by the mid nineteenth century.

No field boundaries are depicted in this location.

A bank visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1963 is likely to be a relict medieval field boundary. It is up to approximately 4 metres in width and of a dog-leg shape. It is not depicted on nineteenth century maps suggesting that it went out of use by the mid nineteenth century. It is not visible on any other available aerial photographs and is probably only visible on the 1963 run due to snow cover and low light conditions.
