The remains of a field system are visible as a series of low earth banks on aerial photographs (p1) and were digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme. The boundaries lie within an area classed as medieval enclosures based on strip fields in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon and do appear to be fossilising groups of former strips.

Four curvilinear banks, visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken between the 1940s and 2010 and images derived from Lidar data, run parallel to extant field boundaries of medieval origin. They are not depicted on the Tithe map and are likely to have fallen out of use by the mid nineteenth century.
