Field called Burrow Park on Tithe Map/Tithe Apportionment (Tithe Apportionment No. 418). Lies to south of site of former farmstead called Burrow which may lie within a prehistoric enclosure. Name may refer to prehistoric barrow or other earthwoorks, or later earthworks related to quarrying ( there are several quarry pits in the vicinity).
