Summary
A complex of earthwork banks is visible on aerial photographs taken from 1946 onwards and on images derived from Lidar data captured in 2006. They may be the remains of field boundaries of post-medieval origin that went out of use by the mid nineteenth century.

A complex of conjoined linear earthwork banks is visible on aerial photographs taken in low light under snow in 1963. They are interpreted as possible relict enclosure boundaries of post-medieval date on an area of higher ground on the edge of the marsh, creating relatively small rectilinear enclosures of between 30 and 50 metres in width. Some are better defined than others and the highest is visible on multiple runs of phoographs; they are not depicted on the Tithe map and presumably went out of use, perhaps in stages, by the mid nineteenth century. The area has been partially developed but some earthworks appear to survive.
