A linear ditch is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in low light conditions under snow cover in 1963, and on images derived from Lidar data captured in 2006. It is approximately 2 metres in width, and runs parallel to field boundaries depicted to the east on historic mapping. It appears to be a modern drainage ditch, but could have an earlier origin as a field boundary. Earthworks are likely to survive.
