The earthwork bank is visible as an L-Shaped feature.

The earthwork bank is visible as an L-Shaped feature.

An earthwork bank of uncertain date is visible as an L-Shaped feature on aerial photographs of 1946 onwards, within East Budleigh Common. The earthwork does not appear to form part of a historic boundary but is perhaps more likely associated with the extensive remains of the Second World War infantry camp located in close proximity to the northeast. The earthwork bank remains visible on aerial photographs of 1960, although appears to have been completely levelled by 1985.
