A former field boundary of potential medieval date is visible as a linear earthwork bank on aerial photographs of 1946 onwards, to the west of Knucklebones Wood. The earthwork bank is east to west aligned and may form part of a medieval field boundary which passed out of use by the time of the Colaton Raleigh parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48. The former boundary remains visible as an earthwork bank on aerial photographs of 1975, although has been completely levelled and the site developed for residential housing by 1988.
