Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2013-2014, South Devon Coast Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV351146.

A former field boundary of potential medieval date is visible as a single earthwork ditch on aerial photographs of 1969, at Liverton Brakes. The linear earthwork is westnorthwest to eastsoutheast aligned and is visible to a length of approximately 38.5m. The former boundary, which may have formed part of a medieval field system, appears to have passed out of use by the time of the Littleham parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48. The earthwork ditch was not visible on aerial photographs before 1969 owing to a thick coverage of vegetation and appears to have been completely levelled by 1988.
