Liverton. Freehold held by the trevilian family in elizabethan times. Sold to henry rolle in 1740. W. Pole and polwhele seem to confuse woodland with liverton. Woodlands is a freehold of about 80ha, quite distinct from liverton, and was owned by yeomen freeholders up to 1800. Liverton is the original meeting place of the hundred.(reichel).
