A circular cropmark feature of a possible former levelled extraction pit or pond of uncertain date is visible on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2003, to the southeast of Tidwell Barton. The possible extraction pit or pond, which is circular in shape and measures approximately 29m in diameter is located within an area dominated by similar such features and appears to be too well defined and regular in shape to be geological in origin. The cropmark may, however, be agricultural related and was not visible on other aerial photographs or digital images made available to the survey.
