The former extraction pit is visible as an earthwork pit.

An extraction pit of probable post-medieval to modern date is visible as an earthwork pit on digital images derived from LiDAR data captured between 1998-2012, to the southeast of Liverton Farm. The former extraction pit is sub-oval in shape with a pointed western edge, measures approximately 24m in length by 13m in width and is located within an area dominated by similar such earthwork features. The former extraction pit was not clearly visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs or other digital images made available to the survey.
