Full description
Royal Air Force, 1946 - 1949, Royal Air Force Aerial Photographs (Aerial Photograph). SDV342938.
Earthworks are visible on the aerial photographs running through the main field to the west.

This field (called Kiln Down on the 1880s map) contains numerous possible remains of field boundaries and hut circles. The field requires a full walk over survey and this would make an excellent community/ local history group project.
The field to the east is also likely to contain prehistoric remains associated with this field system. The Aerial Photograph Project in 1985 identified a possible enclosure (MDV26503) and possible sections of walling were seen during site visit. Stands of gorse and surface stone in both fields are obscuring the remains.
