A curvilinear bank circa 2.5 metres in width is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken from 1947 onwards and on images derived from Lidar data captured in 2006. A line of trees is represented in this location on the late nineteenth century mapping, and this earthwork is interpreted as the remains of a medieval or post-medieval field boundary bank that passed out of use prior to the mid nineteenth century.
