Lovering Farm marked on 1880s-1890s 25 inch Ordnance Survey map comrpising groups of buildings on the north and south sides of the lane.


Reichel, O. J., 1895, Hulham Manor, 417-418 (Article in Serial). SDV349606.

Lovering's Tenement, Hulham, is described in 1651 as one copyhold estate containing 25 acres (10 hectares) and one cottage containing 4 acres (1 hectare). In 1743 it is described as one tenement with dwelling house, ground, house barns, stable, linhays, garden, three orchards and several fields.
