Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2013-2014, South Devon Coast Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV351146.

A linear earthwork bank is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1963 onwards and on images derived from Lidar data captured between 1998 and 2007. In appearance it is similar to a linear bank to the west, which is depicted as a field boundary on the Tithe map, and it meets a slight dog leg in the extant boundary on its west end. The bank is therefore interpreted as a relict medieval field boundary that went out of use by the mid nineteenth century. At circa 6 metres in width, it has probably been reduced in height and spread by historic ploughing, although earthwork remains appear to survive.
