Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2013-2014, South Devon Coast Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV351146.

Two curvilinear ridges are visible on aerial photographs taken from 1946 onwards and on images derived from Lidar data captured between 2001 and 2011. They mark the boundary of a break of slope and it is possible that they are natural, or modified natural features. However they are very well-defined and up to 3 metres wide, and one is contiguous with an extant field boundary depicted on the Tithe map. They are therefore interpreted as relict medieval field boundaries that went out of use by the mid nineteenth century. Earthwork remains are likely to survive.
