Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.
Building on north side of Lakeway (now North Street) marked as Police Station.

Two storey multi-coloured stone building with a slight projecting plinth at the bottom. Full height projecting bay to the left of centre which is wider at ground floor level to accommodate a wider window with a string course under the first floor window The windows have stone cills and mullions. The ground floor windows have relieving arches above them as does the first floor window in the projecting bay. Gable ended slate roof with two small roofed gables at the front over. Slightly projecting chimney stacks at both gable ends, that at the east end projecting from the first floor only.
