Full description

Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

Depicted on the late 19th century historic map. Appears to have been extended substantially from the Tithe Map depiction, with a new section added to the front (eastern) side of the house, almost doubling the size of the building. Small entrance porch also added.

Ordnance Survey, 1904 - 1906, Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch Map (Cartographic). SDV325644.

Early 20th century map shows the building has been extended again, to the north and south ends of the building.

Gill House: Unlisted. Prominently located as the village is entered from the west, this is a good and unspoilt example of a modest late Georgian house. In the context of North Brentor, however, it is a fairly substantial home.

Ordnance Survey, 2014, MasterMap (Cartographic). SDV355681.
