One of the oldest outbuildings surviving intact in Brentor, probably dating from the late 18th century. Depicted on the Tithe Map and by virtue of its position on this ancient green lane it is an important structure.

Full description

Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

Depicted on the Tithe Map; the most southerly building in the settlement, on the western side of the lane approaching the village.

Depicted on the late 19th century historic map, with an extension on the northern side.

Outbuilding on Dark Lane: Unlisted. On the south western edge of the Conservation Area is one of the oldest outbuildings surviving intact, probably dating from the late 18th century. It can be seen on the tithe map and by virtue of its position on this ancient green lane it is an important structure.
