Chubbator Farm is depicted on the Tithe Map, 1271 on the Buckland Monachorum Apportionment ('house and courtlage'). Farmhouse shown to the eastern end of the site and three associated buildings also shown.

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

The late 19th century depiction appears to show the farmhouse and two of the associated buildings in roughly the same arrangement, although there may have been some alterations by this time. A further new building to the south added.

White, P., 2013, Previously Unsurveyed Dartmoor Historic Farmsteads (Un-published). SDV352501.

Included on list. No further detail provided.

Ordnance Survey, 2014, MasterMap (Cartographic). SDV355681.

Chubb Tor is depicted on the modern mapping, but appears to have been substantially altered from the late 19th century historic map. The farmhouse end of the range of buildings that now exists may preserve some of the older fabric and at the opposite end (western), there may be the remains of one the original outbuildings. The rest of the buildings shown are modern.
