Inscription: IN EVER GLORIOUS MEMORY/ OF THE SEATON SCOUTS/ WHO DIED FOR ENGLAND IN THE GREAT EUROPEAN WAR/ 1914-1919/ (NAMES)/ THEY CLIMB'D THE STEEP ASCENT OF HEAV'N/ THROUGH PERIL TOIL AND PAIN/ O GOD TO US MAY GRACE BE GIVEN/ TO FOLLOW IN THEIR TRAIN
