Full description
Lamb, S., 1957, Some notes on 18th century furnishings in the parish churches of Devon, 218 (Article in Serial). SDV65364.
St Marys parish church in Offwell. Pulpit similar to that at Ottery St Mary, but smaller. Made in 1724, its panels carved with figures of the evangelists. Against the south wall, near the chancel arch, and has a delicately worked back panel, surmounted by a carved angel holding a trumpet. In excellent condition.
