Full description
English Heritage, 2013, Intertidal and Coastal Peat Database: Devon, Record ID 463 (Website). SDV350876.
Record ID 463. Year; 1970. Deposit located at SX 896 576. 2 ft [0.61 m] of peat with occasional sand layers and wood fragments, outcrops on the foreshore. It overlies at least 3 ft [0.91 m] of pebbly sand containing abundant plant debris. There may be pollen Zone VII. Depth of deposit; -5 ft OD [-1.52 m OD] = 2-3cm below top of peat bed (pollen sample). No dates available.
