Full description
English Heritage, 2013, Intertidal and Coastal Peat Database: Devon, Record ID 446,ID 311, Laboratory code SRR-23 (Website). SDV350876.
Record ID 446. Year; 1979. Compacted peat (unknown thickness) with wood fragments in offshore borehole. Peat overlain by c.1.2m blue clay and mixture of sands, silts and clays. Vibrocore 70VC sample method. Collected 1973 and submitted by M.W.L. Blackley.
ID 311, Laboratory code SRR-23. Sample location SX 825 390 deposit. Depth of sample; -16 to -17 m OD. Dated sample description; Uppermost 10 cm of peat. Uncalibrated date 8110 ± 60, calibrated date -27.9.
