The quarry is visible as an earthwork pit.

A quarry of probable post-medieval or modern date is visible as an earthwork pit on aerial photographs of 1946 onwards, to the southeast of Queensborough Farm. The quarry, which was likely associated with the farmstead, is irregular in shape and measures approximately 35m in length by 26m in width. It remains visible as an earthwork pit on aerial photographs of 1989 and on digital images derived from Lidar data captured during 2005 and 2012.
