An extraction pit of probable post-medieval to modern date is visible as an earthwork pit on aerial photographs of 1946 onwards, to the west of Fig Tree Farm. The pit is oval in shape and measures approximately 15m in length by 10m in width and is visible on aerial photographs of 1946 and 1967 located alongside a kink in a historic and now removed field boundary. The former extraction pit, which was likely associated with Fig Tree Farm, is probably visible as an earthwork pit on aerial photographs up until 1989, although has possibly been levelled after this date.
