Full description
English Heritage, 2013, Intertidal and Coastal Peat Database: Devon, Record ID 422 (Website). SDV350876.
Record ID 422. Year; 1946. Deposit description; inner and outer peat on the shore. Associated artefacts; midden 4 inches [10.16 cm] thick. Early work; submerged forest mentioned by Risdon (1605) - on finding an oak tree 30ft long below Braunton Burrows. No dates available.
