A memorial to the late F.M. Collier stands on an ancient barrow due west of Ryall gate.
Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1977 - 1979, SS21SE10 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV342514.
Site visit 10th October 1977. A modern granite memorial was placed on the crown of the barrow in 1947.
Devon Committee for Rescue Archaeology, 1979 - 1981, North Devon Barrow Survey (Archive - Survey). SDV341310.
Site visit 20th November 1979. Barrow crowned by granite memorial stones which has caused a slight hollowing of the centre. There are four concrete posts around the memorial.
