A series of possible cropmark ditches are visible.

Possible cropmark ditches of uncertain date and origin are visible on aerial photographs of 1999, to the south of Hayne Oak. The cropmarks are linear in form, are well-defined and appear to form a regular three-sided square enclosure which measures approximately 40m in length by 36m in width. The cropmarks are closely comparable in form to a prehistoric or Romano-British enclosure. However, the linear cropmarks appear to partly respect the alignment of a number of adjacent cropmarks which are clearly agricultural in origin and, as such, cast doubt as to the antiquity of this possible ‘enclosure’. The cropmarks were not visible on other aerial photographs made available to the survey and should be viewed with some caution.
