Full description
Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
Pair of linked cottages depicted on the tithe map at this location, with outbuildings (sties?) at the front. Apportionment for these plots ('Sherrell' 144 and 145) records 'cottage, garden and styes'.

By the late 19th century depiction, only the western cottage ('Sherwill Cottage') appears to be shown. Possible remains of the eastern cottage at the edge of the plot.
