Former field boundaries of potential medieval date are visible as earthwork banks on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards, to the south of Overleigh. The broad plough-spread earthwork banks measure approximately 16m wide, are broadly T-Shaped in plan and are north to south and east to west aligned. An additional northeast to southwest aligned earthwork bank was also visible to the immediate southeast, although since this is depicted as a field boundary on the parish tithe map was not transcribed as part of this survey. The remaining field boundaries had, however, clearly passed out of use by the time of the tithe map. The earthwork banks remain partly visible on aerial photographs of 1999, although their survival after this date is unclear.
