Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.
'Wilminstone' is depicted on the late 19th century historic map (Tithe Map not found for this area). No sign of Wilminstone Hall on this map. Farmstead is large and laid in a very regular manner, and may be a relatively new addition at this time.

By the early 20th century historic map depiction, Wilminstone Hall had been added to the south-east of the farm.

The name 'Wilminstone' has documentary references going back to the 13th century but this may link to Wilminstone House to the south-west of the farm, which is located just outside the National Park area.
