Site of a cairn described in C19 as 17m diameter. Cairn may be one of a number of mounds referred to as having possible associations with military works. The SMR records a number of visits to the area since the 1950s at which times no trace of the feature has been identified above ground. The site appears to lie just outside the survey area. No features were visible in the vicinity during the field survey.
