Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.
The 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of the 1880s-1890s shows that the Shuttern Brook had been diverted to the two channels along each side of Brook Street.

Description: There are open channels along Brook Street for the Shuttern Brook. The Shuttern Brook originally ran down the centre of Brook Street, and an Ordnance Survey map of 1890 shows the Shuttern Brook had been moved and diverted to the two channels along each side of the road.
