Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

A probable former field boundary of potential medieval date is visible as a possible earthwork bank on aerial photographs of 1947 and 1967, to the east of Higher Ford. The earthwork bank is east to west aligned and broadly respects the historic field patterns, although appears to have passed out of use by the time of the parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48. The former field boundary was possibly visible on aerial photographs of 1947, although its survival after 1967 is uncertain.
