Name: | Field Boundary or Drainage Ditches South-West of Higher Houndaller Farm |

Summary
Two linear ditches are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s and as dark cropmarks on infra-red images derived from photographs taken in 2010. They were probably intended for land drainage in the post-medieval or modern period, or were possibly associated with a removed medieval field boundary; examination of images derived from Lidar data captured between 2005 and 2010 suggest that a slight earthwork bank may survive.

Two linear ditches, up to circa 2 metres in width, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s and as dark cropmarks on infra-red images derived from photographs taken in 2010. They are aligned cross-contour and were probably intended for land drainage in the post-medieval or modern period, although they may have been associated with a removed field boundary of earlier date; examination of images derived from Lidar data captured between 2005 and 2010 suggest that a slight earthwork bank may survive.
