Evidence of two removed field boundaries of possible medieval origin can be seen as broad but shallow earthwork ditches to the north of Clanbrook Farm on aerial photographs of 1947.
The northernmost earthwork correspond to a field boundary depicted on the Tithe Map for Cullompton but not on the Ordnance Survey first edition 25inch map, and was therefore probably removed between the 1840s and 1890s. The southernmost boundary is not depicted on the Tithe Map and was probably removed prior to the 1840s. The earthworks remain visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2010.
