Full description

A north to south orientated earthwork bank is visible.

A former possible field boundary of probable post medieval date was visible on images derived from lidar data acquired in 2010 as a low earthwork bank to the west of middle Shutelake Farm.
The relict boundary is orientated north to south and was visible for circa 80 metres. The field in which the earthwork was centrally located is symbolised as an orchard on the Ordnance Survey first edition 25inch map of the 1880s-1890s. It also does not correspond with any boundaries depicted on the Tithe map for Cullompton. It is therefore possible that the earthwork bank passed out of use prior to the 1840s.
