Linear earthwork banks are visible, partially obscured by trees.

Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

Linear earthworks aligned east to west are just visible, but heavily obscured by trees, in two separate land parcels on aerial photographs taken in 1946. Both are symbolised as orchards on late nineteenth century mapping and the features are interpreted as ridges for tree planting. They are obscured by tree cover on the aerial photographs and only those that are visible have been transcribed, but it is assumed that they once covered the whole of the land parcels. The ridges are not visible on later available aerial and are likely to have been levelled during the mid twentieth century.
